As a potential franchise owner attending an Angry Crab Shack Discovery Day, you’ve probably done some research. You’ve read our mission, looked at our numbers and come with a conceptual knowledge of what makes Angry Crab Shack unique.
On Discovery Day, our goal is to show you what numbers can’t.
After a two-hour presentation at our Mesa, Ariz. headquarters, we’ll take you to an Angry Crab Shack location for lunch where you’ll meet the manager and employees. You’ll feel the energy and culture come alive.
From there, we’ll visit one or two other Angry Crab Shacks to show how our brand’s infectious personality carries from location to location, although they are not identical. Each Angry Crab Shack is noticeably different, yet they feel the same – this is something we take pride in.

Now for the other obvious reason for Discovery Days: information.
At Angry Crab Shack headquarters, you’ll watch a thorough presentation about becoming one of our franchise owners. You’ll meet key members from our corporate team, including Founder and CEO Ron Lou, President Andy Diamond, Director of Sales and Marketing Ashley Newcomer and Human Resources Director Catherine Bishop.
After you visit multiple Angry Crab Shack locations, you’ll have another chance to ask any final questions before leaving. Later, a member of our team will follow-up with you about your Discovery Day experience. He or she will ask how the visit went and whether or not you’d like to move forward in the process of becoming an Angry Crab Shack franchise owner.
