Fortunately, Angry Crab Shack busts those myths. Our business concept boasts low overhead and high ROI, and our franchising process consists of eight easy steps:
Step 1: Prequalification
After you’ve narrowed your search and landed on Angry Crab Shack, you’ll want to collect more details about our brand. You can download information to learn more about our business model, initial investment and brand personality. After you review that information, a franchise representative will be in contact to discuss your interest, experience and financial qualifications and answer any initial questions. This first step helps you decide if Angry Crab Shack is a good fit for you.
Step 2: Personal Profile Form
Now that you’ve learned about us, we’d like to learn about you. The next step is to fill out a personal profile form. This form helps us get to know you and customize the process to meet your needs. This step is not a franchise application, and there is no obligation after you complete the form.
Step 3: Program Review
Our program review provides more details and a wider picture of the Angry Crab Shack system. The webinar format covers the franchise offering, business model, market opportunity, current performance and available territories.
Step 4: Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
This step is particularly important. After you review our franchising program, you’ll receive a copy of our FDD. This document gives extensive information about us as a franchisor, including performance metrics like earnings claims in Item 19. The FDD allows candidates to learn about our fee structure, support services and current financial performance. Angry Crab Shack representatives are available to walk you through the FDD, if you choose.
Step 5: Franchise Application
Once you’ve reviewed all the information provided in the previous steps, it’s time to weigh the benefits of Angry Crab Shack against your personal and professional goals. Then, you can fill out a formal franchise application and personal financial statement. We will also discuss how you’ll finance your investment and where you’d like to operate.
Step 6: Discovery Day
This is the final step in the qualification process – and the most exciting. As an official franchise candidate, you will visit our headquarters in Mesa, Ariz., for a tour of our restaurants and to meet the management team. This visit gives you a chance to evaluate the company’s culture and ask questions in person. The goal is for you to walk away from Discovery Day feeling confident in your decision, prepared to move forward and excited about the Angry Crab Shack brand.
Step 7: Franchise Approval
After Discovery Day, if there was a mutual agreement, we’ll make it official and prepare a franchise agreement to execute. Once you sign, you are part of the Angry Crab Shack family!
Step 8 and Beyond: Welcome Aboard!
Congratulations, you’ve completed the process and become an official Angry Crab Shack owner. Now it’s time to get working on opening day. Don’t worry, our corporate team is here to help you every step of the way. We’re excited to launch a new business together.
