At Angry Crab Shack, the New Restaurant Launch Program consists of several steps- from pre-qualification all the way to ongoing support after you’ve opened your location. Even so, no two programs are the same.

One of the first steps in the launch process is a personal profile form for you to fill out with your expectations and preferences to make sure that you and the corporate team stay “on board” with them throughout each step.

You will then attend an informational webinar and receive a Franchise Disclosure Document, which will give you a full run-down of everything that comes along with owning an Angry Crab Shack, including the business model, market opportunity and financial information.

Discover Your Potential as a Franchise Owner

The most important event you will attend when learning about a franchise opportunity is Discovery Day. Angry Crab Shack hosts theirs at their home office in Mesa, Arizona. Not only will you get a first-hand look at the restaurants themselves, but you’ll also be able to meet the owners, corporate team and even current employees.

Hopefully, you love seafood as much as they do because you’ll be treated to a lunch at an existing Angry Crab Shack location. This on-site experience will help get a feel for the company culture and, of course, ask any questions you may have.

Once Discovery Day has concluded and your application is approved, you will be able to officially begin the buildout process, where Angry Crab Shack’s team will help you with everything from site selection to competitor analysis, construction, equipment and initial inventory.

The supportive culture Angry Crab Shack prides itself on does not stop after buildout. Their team is here for you come gentle waters or high tide. Whether you need assistance with staffing, your soft opening, or grand opening- the corporate team will always be available to ensure the process goes smoothly.

They will even help you develop and execute a marketing plan- complete with advertising, networking and public relations. When it comes to your in-restaurant activities, they will be right by your side to help hire and train employees.
